Luisa’s Story – This is why we do what we do.
“I felt my life was worthless – no one would care if I disappeared or died
I was self-harming and suicidal at just 14 years old.
I wouldn’t be here now if not for the street outreach team of Casa Alianza. They sat and spoke to me over many days, gently telling me they could help.
Offering a different outcome & way of life – a place of safety and nurture.
They made me feel life could be worth living – that my life had value. That I could change, learn to be happy and be part of life and society.
I will always thank them for this and now, after becoming part of the Casa Alianza family, taking part in therapy tailored just for me, starting up my education again and developing a life plan, I have purpose and a future.
I want to be able to help other children like me, so I am working hard and in a few years hope to be in a position to give back. “

Dear Friends
Our appeal this Easter is for vital services for our children – from the very start, when we go out on the streets into dangerous areas to seek out children in despair:
- Providing a place of safety, food, education, health services, mental health care and vocational training.
The cost-of-living crisis is global and it’s incredibly tough for our projects to continue to give the level of support they want to provide for the children in our care.
We are incredibly proud of all our project partners, who go above and beyond every day to provide everything our traumatised children need to become well, healthy, and strong.
Giving them life skills, enabling them to start a new future and become socially included in a world that had ignored and discarded them as so much rubbish on the street.
- Many of our children have been trafficked, suffered violence and abuse at home and on the streets, and are denied even basic access to services for health and education.
Without Casa Alianza and supporters such as yourselves, these children become invisible, ceasing to exist as “real & valued humans”.
They are viewed as so much rubbish to sweep away or ignore.
We provide children with absolutely everything they need – from food to clothes; shoes; toiletries; health, dental and optical care; vaccinations; mental health care and therapy; educational assessments and education/vocational training tailored to their needs so they can access a future where they become independent.
Our appeal for your donations focuses on basic needs as mentioned above.
You can donate via our website via our QR code, CAF voucher or by cheque.
