Volunteer fundraiser needed – can you help ?
We are looking for a Volunteer (1-2 days per week, for minimum of 3 months), to support our upcoming 20th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign.
Over the last 20 years Compass has invested nearly £1 million into partner programmes, but we are looking for additional support to maximise income during this important year, helping us to tackle the increasing problems faced by children around the world.
To support our vision and work, we are looking to build a team of volunteers and freelancers to ensure we provide safe places for children around the world allowing them to reach their potential.
Working with the General Manager and Board of Trustees, you will work across Trust and Foundations, Individual Giving (Appeals, Online and Events) and Corporate support.
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic fundraiser, ideally with some fundraising experience, to build experience and connections within the sector.
As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to refresh and grow your experience. Working as part of small ,friendly team you will find the opportunity rewarding as you can quickly see the difference your help will make.
Example tasks include: –
– Researching Trust and Foundations, Corporates and HNWI
– Drafting Fundraising Proposals, Reports and Corporate pitches
– Leading approaches to potential supporters, in consultation with the General Manager and Board of Trustees.
The main office is based in Kettering ,with a number of Trustees located in London, applications are invited for remote working.
