Caring for the world and humanity – reducing plastic waste an initiative at La Alianza Guatemala

At La Alianza we are concerned about the serious damage we cause every day, to life on the planet and more specifically to Guatemala. Since our foundation in 2010, we have been working on initiatives for a green planet.

For this reason we have started our internal campaign “Plastic less La Alianza” since June of this year. This initiative has allowed the staff and the girls of ALA, to document and study the protection of ecosystems, in order to help preserve  them.    In addition to  raising awareness, we have carried out specific actions:

we stopped buying disposable plates and utensils

we have been distributed among the staff, cloth or reusable bags to do their shopping

Little by little we will get far!
